TOURS: - We offer Vineyard and Winery tours on Fridays’. Appointments are required and must be scheduled in advance by phone. Groups of 10 and under for a more intimate experience are preferred. We begin with a walk through the Vineyard and on to the Winery…. a very intimate and personal way to learn about Windwalker Vineyards vines and wines. Please call for further information. Watch for more information about each club event mentioned above via email and inserts with your club releases as each event draws nearer. We are closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas & New Years Day. If you’re interested in visiting us outside our normal business hours, simply call to make arrangements. Note: Our operating hours can be affected by weather and weather related conditions especially during the winter. We suggest calling first if weather is questionable. If our gates are closed, please trying calling us if you made it that far – we can tolerate the conditions together over a sip of wine if we happen to be here. For some odd reasons it seems to affect the weekdays more than the weekends. We have rarely closed during the weekend. Cheers! Like us on Face book!
WINE DINNERS: - Join us for one of our wonderful Wine Dinners with Chef Jonathan Rolls. We keep our Wine Dinner's smaller fr a more intimate experience. Please call for more information.
- Valentine’s Event : Saturday, February 11 12:00 to 4:30. Featuring Port Chocolates Truffles, chesses and our Port Wine. Come and enjoy.
April 2012
- El Dorado County Passport: Windwalker Vineyard will proudly be participating in the annual EDWA Passport event.
- First weekend: Saturday and Sunday, April 14-15 2012.
- Second weekend: Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22, 2012.
May 2012
- Paring and Release “May Day” Party: Saturday, May 5th. This event is held in our winery amidst the tanks and barrels where Dominic works his magic. Our new releases are paired with small tastes. Barrel tasting of the fantastic wines you can look forward to enjoying in the near future. Our tasting room will be also open for you to visit and taste our current wines.
August 2012
- Annual Club Picnic- Great wine, delicious food and marvelous music. Always a highlight of the summer season. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED….. Beginning July 5, 2012!
- First weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 10, 11 and 12.
- Second weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 17, 18 and 19.
November 2012
- Paring and Release Party, and Club-Exclusive Mini Christmas & Gift Boutique Saturday, November 3rd. Start your holiday season at this tasty event. Food and wine for you and a head start on your holiday shopping.
- Thanksgiving Weekend Open House: Friday and Saturday, November 23rd and 24th. Another opportunity to treat yourself to Windwalker’s hospitality. Enjoy hearty winter foods, warming wines and make progress on holiday shopping.
December 2012
- Annual Ongoing Christmas and Gift Boutique continues.
Wine Club Releases to be shipped or held for pick-up;
January 2012: 1st Club Release March/April 2012: 2nd Club Release
May/June 2012: 3rd Club Release October 2012: 4th Wine Club Release
